Installation Instructions
Engineered to be used in retrofit B-Vent to B-Vent chimney applications only. For use
with all approved type "B" gas vents listed with ULC/UL. Male/Female adaptors are
manufactured for use above or below the roof line.
½" Airspace Application
1. Slide adaptor over existing vent as far as it will go.
2. Locate draw band maximum of 1/2" from raw end of adaptor.
3. Install 2 #8 x 3/8" sheet metal screws (provided) through draw band and both outer
casings to ensure that there is no slippage. (NOTE: be sure not to tighten and puncture
the inner liner.)
4. Then silicone all exposed seams/joints using silicone with a temperature rating of 300
deg. F (150 deg. C) or more.
5. Continue retrofit with Don Park B-vent only.
