skIMMeR oPeratIon sKiMMer Positioning place Skimmer in the aquarium so that the water level is just below the top of the housing. Secure the Skimmer to the aquarium by either the mounting clips or the mounting bracket. NOTE: The air intake must be above the water line.
skIMMeR MaIntenanCe Monitor the height of the bubbles in the Collection Cone on a daily basis and adjust the Flow Control Knob as needed. Also inspect the intake of the Skimmer to clear any obstructions that would impede water flow. Maintenance on the Impeller is recommended every 3 months minimum.
