POSSIBLE CAUSE
Upper or lower seat ring failure.
Debris trapped in upper seat or lower
seat.
Upper or lower seat not closed.
Upper or lower seat clean activated.
Tri-ring on bottom of top seat failed.
Small spring not holding upper stem
in place.
Internal adapter o-ring failure.
External adapter o-ring failure.
Inner stem o-ring failure.
Air pressure too low.
Control failure.
Controls failed.
Lifting piston not adjusted correctly.
Adjusting sleeve not adjusted
correctly.
Clamp loose.
Lower switch not adjusted properly.
Upper switch not adjusted.
Missing and/or damaged gaskets.

Troubleshooting
SUGGESTED ACTION
Remove valve. Replace seat rings.
Inspect/change cleaning procedure to correct.
Inspect inner and outer stems for galling and
burrs on adapter.
Check actuator function.
Check control sequence.
Replace seal.
Inspect inner and outer stems for galling and
burrs.
Check and replace small spring and stems in
actuator.
Replace o-ring.
Replace o-ring.
Replace o-ring.
Set air pressure to 72 psi (5 bar) minimum.
