Turning Your Device On/Off To turn on your device, press and hold the Power button until the Minno logo appears (5-6 seconds); release the button and the system will complete startup. Note: ‘Top-off’ your battery charge if it is not charged to 100% when first powered on.
Getting Started: Using the Touch Screen (continued) Touch Screen Control Your device is equipped with a multi-touch display allowing you to perform multiple finger gestures, such as pinching the screen for zooming out, or spreading the screen for zooming in. Getting Started: Access Applications On the Home screen press the Applications icon to open the Applications menu. Manage Applications Open – Press any application icon to launch the application. Grab – Long-press any icon in the Applications menu to drag it to the Home screen.
Getting Started: Customize Your Device Wallpaper To change the Wallpaper, press and hold your finger on the Home screen to bring up the Wallpaper dialog box. Choose Wallpaper from available options. Settings Press the Settings icon to enter the Settings menu and customize your device. Gently press your finger on the Settings list and move it up or down to scroll through Settings options.
Tools and Applications: Email To set up or sign up for a Gmail account open the Gmail application on the Home screen, choose Existing if you already have a Gmail account or New to create a new account and follow the instructions on the screen to complete set up.
Tools and Applications: Battery Management During charging the device will be powered on (the system will power on even when charging begins from a powered down state). When charging while the device is in use the battery icon will have a white lightening bolt in the center.
Operational Tips Toggle Between Open Applications Press to display the list of active applications and select the application you wish to access. By doing this you can toggle between active applications without going back to the Home screen and/or closing the application that you are using. End Application Operation Press to display the list of active applications.
