    ML 4 Benutzerhandbuch ID-Lesegerät 1. Einführung Wir gratulieren Ihnen zum Erwerb Ihres neuen ID-Lesegerätes ML 4. WICHTIG! Lesen Sie dieses Handbuch vor Gebrauch sorgfältig! Sämtliche PrehKeyTec-Produkte unterliegen einem kontinuierlichen Verbesserungs- prozess. Aus diesem Grund behalten wir uns technische Änderungen vor.

    ML 4 Benutzerhandbuch ID-Lesegerät Das ID-Lesegerät ML 4 zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine hohe Funktionalität bei einer äußerst kompakten Bauweise aus. Je nach Wunsch kann ein ML 4 mit folgenden Modulen ausgestattet werden: RFID Modul Smart Card Modul Fingerprint-Reader 1.1.

    Verbinden Sie nun den USB-A-Stecker des Kabels mit einer USB-A-Buchse Ihres PCs. Stellen Sie das ML 4 auf eine ebene Fläche oder montieren Sie es auf einem optional erhältlichen Pole-Mount-Adapter (Zeichnungen zu Anschraubpunkten und dem Adapter in Anhang B „Abmessungen - Dimensions“).

    Benutzerhandbuch ID-Lesegerät 3. Module 3.1. Fingerprint-Reader Standardmäßig enthält das ML 4 einen optischen Fingerabdruckleser "F1" vom Typ DigitalPersona® U.are.U® 4500. Hiermit können Sie sehr einfach die Verwendung eines Fingerabdrucks als biometrisches Merkmal in Ihre Software integrieren. Treiber/SDK: Informationen zu Treibern und SDKs erhalten Sie von Ihrem PrehKeyTec-Partner.

    CCID-Treiber des Betriebssystems verwendet werden. Als Software-Schnittstelle dient PC/SC. Korrekte Bedienung der kontaktlosen Einheit: Für eine einwandfreie Funktionsfähigkeit des ML 4 sollten sich in unmittel- barer Nähe möglichst keine größeren Metallteile oder andere RFID-Geräte befinden. Standardmäßig hat das Gerät eine Übertragungsreichweite von einigen Zentimetern.

By default the device has a transmission range of some centimeters. To exchange data, hold or place your RFID- enabled device or document over the marked area and start the trans- mission.
