Connecting the Scanner - Keyboard Wedge
I
1. Turn power off before connecting the scanner.
2. Remove the keyboard connector from the PC.
3. Connect the cable's modular connector to the scanner.
4. Connect the male connector to the keyboard port in the PC and the
female connector to the keyboard cable. You may need to use the
Din/Mini Din adapter (included) to match your keyboard connectors.
Connecting the Scanner - Serial (RS-232)

1. Turn power off before connecting the scanner.
2. Remove the keyboard connector from the PC.
3. Connect the cable's modular connector to the scanner.
4. Connect the DB9 connector to the serial port of the PC.
5. Connect the power stealer cable to the keyboard port in the PC. (This
cable powers only the IT3800LTP.)
6. Connect the keyboard cable to the back of the power stealer cable
connected in step 5.
