OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This blanket is intended to be used as a throw blanket or overblanket, and therefore

should always be placed on top of a person, not under them. It is not to be used as
an "under blanket" and is not suitable to lay on.
CONNECTING THE CORD TO THE BLANKET
• Connect the controller to the blanket (the blanket has a socket attached that the controller
slots into) and ensure it is fully connected.
• Ensure there is a mains supply is nearby and that when in use, the mains lead will not be
in a position that could cause people to trip over it. When plugged into the mains supply,
the controller must be within easy reach of the user.
• To remove the cord, lift the locking tab up with your finger and pull the plug directly out. Do
not pull the controller cable and do not try and pull the controller plug out without lifting the
locking tab as you will damage the socket.

USING THE BLANKET

Turn the blanket on by toggling the switch on the side of the controller.
The controller has a display and three buttons; "Temp", "Time" and "High".
• Temp: by pressing this button you circulate between Temperature mode 1-7, and Low
temperature (indicated by an L). If you are going to sleep, or will be using the blanket for a
long time, mode 1 or L is recommended. Otherwise, select the appropriate mode accord-
ing to your preferences. Always turn down the heat if you start to feel too hot and sweaty.
• Time: by pressing this button you can adjust the timer and selecting for how many hours
the blanket will heat you. 9 hour is the maximum time, after this the blanket will automati-
cally shut off to prevent it from overheating.
• High: press "High" to heat up the blanket quickly (can be used for preheating 30 - 60
minutes before use). The blanket will automatically change to Low temperature mode after
1 hour.

AFTER USE

When the blanket is not in use, please switch the controller to the off position; remove the
plug from the power socket. If the blanket is not to be used for a long period of time, store
the blanket in a cool and dry place.
