HOW TO OPERATE CONSTANT TEMP FILES Selecting a File 1) Using the Arrow keys, move the cursor to the desired file. 2) Using the Right Arrow key, move the cursor to the Time setting (in the Time setting field, the value that was used in the last program run is displayed).

PROGRAMMED TEMPERATURE CONTROL MODE After switching on the unit, the user can select the Constant Temp Control Mode or Programmed Temp Control Mode. To select the Programmed Temp Control Mode, press the “F3” key (F3: PROGRAMMED TEMP).

BASIC OPERATION FLOW Using the power cable included Power On with the system, plug the unit into the earthed electric outlet and switch the unit on. When the unit is switched on, the Main Menu, shown on the right, will be displayed.

    Thermal Cycler GeneAtlas Type-E Operation Manual, ASTEC CO., LTD. EDITING A PROGRAM Editing a File In the Main Menu (File Index), use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the file you wish to edit. With the cursor at the file name, press the “F2” key (F2: EDIT) to edit the file.

COVER HEATER TEMPERATURE SETTINGS Changing the Cover Heater Temperature Settings While in the Main Menu (File Index), press and hold the “A-Z” key and press the “F5” key (F5: DATA). The screen will now display CONFIG-DATA menu, as shown below. By default, the cover heater temperature is set at +10°C above the sample block temperature.
