    4. Installation of GPS MT-VisionAir X ETSO is by default equipped with a Fast Integral GPS (with integrated antenna). For the configuration of the correct GPS in the software refer to chapter “ Connections”. Installation of Fast Integral GPS 4.1.1 Recommended installation location of the Fast Integral GPS The manufacturer recommends installation of the Fast Integral GPS on the glare shield.

    4.1.4 Remarks regarding installation The manufacturer recommends a velcro strap to fix the Fast Integral GPS to the desired location. This facilitates a change of location. Alternatively mounting screws can be used: • Use 4 mounting screws 16x2.2 mm (tapping screw, DIN 7981 or the like).

The grounding The correct grounding of all attached peripheral devices should be considered in addition to the strain relief as the second important condition for the proper operation of the units. They cause not only total failures, but mostly sporadic disorders. This may not be reproduced without further ado and can cause an infinitely time-consuming search.
