Remote Control S for Automatic Charger
Suitable for
 Automatic Chargers of the Votronic "PB..." and "Vac..." Series as well as
 Charging Converter Series "VCC...." with galvanic isolation
provided with 6p. tip jack "Remote Control".
Please read the mounting instructions and operating manual completely prior to starting
connection and start-up.
The remote control is designed for convenient and complete remote control of Votronic charging units being
installed at difficultly accessible locations near the battery.

Mounting:

If possible, the remote control should be installed at a location in the living space, which is easily accessible and well
visible. Choose an installation place in the furniture front being favourable to the contrast of the display (sun radiation).
The built-in depth is max. 16 mm, in order to be able to imbed the electronic system into the wall thickness of the
furniture.
The rear cut-out should be covered with non-conducting material (e. g. plywood, thickness: 3 mm, plastic plate or similar)
to protect the electronic system efficiently and to be able to use the loading area being eventually created behind. The
clear with of the cut-out should be at least 53 x 38 mm to ensure a safe alignment of the unit front.
The delivered connection cable is to be plugged-in and to be led to the automatic charger prior to the final installation of
the remote control.
Verify after installation, if any short-circuit of the electronic system by other cables and the vehicle ground are excluded
and connect the unit to the charger by inserting it into the tip jack "Remote Control".
An extension of the cable is possible with the plug in control cable of 5 m length.
