Turn off all equipment before making this connection.
" To connect external equipment, purchase a commercially available connection
cable.
" If using an audio cable, purchase one without resistance. If you use an audio cable
with resistance, sound volume will decrease.
" Before recording, select "auxiliary" for the equipment connected to the VIDEO 1
output jack.

! Recording disc contents to the connected
equipment
You can record images and sounds to a DVD recorder or VCR. Connect it to the
VIDEO 1 output jack with a video cable or S-video cable and audio cable (not sup-
plied).
Main unit
Procedure:

Turn on the AV selector and main unit.

Press the DVD button on the remote control.

Start recording on the connected equipment and then start playback on the main unit.
Notes:
" Some discs are copy protected and recording is not possible.
" While recording, do not switch to another function.
" To record from the radio, press the TUNER (BAND) button.
" You can also use the
" Plug in each cable fully to prevent noise interference.
