    BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME Carefully unpack the Waffle Maker and remove all packaging and materials. Place the Waffle Maker on a dry, clean and flat surface. Keep the Waffle Maker closed until use. Wipe outer surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth or sponge. CAUTION: Care must be taken to prevent water from running into the appliance.

    11. When the 2 audible beeps sound and the green READY light illuminates steadily, rotate Waffle Maker 180° to the top side, until it is flat and locked into a stable position. Using a rubber spatula or a non-metallic utensil, remove and test the waffle for doneness.

    REMOVING COOK PLATES AND CLEANING Waffle Plates are removable for ease of cleaning. Make sure the Waffle Maker is cooled completely before removing waffle cook plates. Use the lid handle to open the lid. Unlock and remove lower plate. Firmly Figure 2 press the lower plate release located at the base of the waffle cook plate.

    INSTALLING COOK PLATES Place the Waffle Maker on a sturdy, flat, level surface. Open the lid. Place 2 clean cook plates, cooking-side-up, on a working surface near the Waffle Maker. NOTE: PLATES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE, AND CAN BE INSTALLED IN EITHER UPPER OR LOWER POSITION. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS INSTALL UPPER AND LOWER PLATES WITH COOK- SIDES-UP.

    SENSIO Inc. warrants the CHEF-BUILT ® CWM-300, new product to be free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase when used with food, non-abrasive liquids (other than detergents) and non-abrasive semi-liquids, providing everything has been used as directed, and not in excess of the indicated amounts.
