If the ****-32-8200 does not "turn on" or power up. What could be the problem after we check that there is power.

If the Thermotron 8200 Plus does not power up after confirming there is power, possible issues could include:
1. Power Supply Issue – Ensure that the voltage input is between 18 to 28 Vdc and provides at least 12 watts of power. 2. Connection Problem – Check the ST1 interface cable that supplies power to the 8200+ from the control module. 3. Battery Issue – The replaceable battery (BH1) might need to be replaced. 4. Faulty Hardware – If all connections and power supply are correct, the unit itself may have a hardware failure.
Checking these components should help identify the cause of the issue.

If the process variable undershoots the setpoint slightly until it finally reaches the setpoint (if it ever does), the integral time is too large. • If the process variable overshoots the setpoint, the integral time is too small. Run a cool-down test to see the effect of the change from step 2. If necessary readjust the cool parameters. Continue to run alternating heat-up and cool-down tests, adjusting the heat and cool parameters as needed to achieve the desired level of control. Need help?
Do you have a question about the 8200 Plus and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
