Front Carry Positions The JACS can be used in the Front-Carry positions from approximately 3 months, and upwards. To carry babies under 3 months - a JACS Infant Insert Pad (sold separately) is required Front Inward Facing Front Outward Facing Appropriate for babies aged from 3 months on- Appropriate for babies aged from approximately 6 wards.

Attaching the Baby-Carrier The baby carrier should be attached to the harness by connecting the lower straps quick release buckles, side straps karabiner/MOLLE connections, and upper straps quick release buckles, in that order. The connections lo- cated at point 4 are for attaching the backpack shoulder straps and back-carry straps.

Securing the Leg-Straps The Leg-Straps should be secured by passing the strap end through the corresponding webbing strap loop, and secured at the required length using the snap-fastener. There are two adjustment settings available – either shortening or lengthening the strap by connecting the press stud fasteners to the corresponding studs on the strap.
Back Carry Positions The JACS can be used in the Back-Carry position from approximately 9-12 months, and upwards. Back Carry Appropriate for babies aged from approximately 9 months onwards. Attaching the Baby-Carrier The baby carrier should be attached to the harness by connecting the lower straps, and side straps.

Adjusting the Baby-Carrier Adjust the Baby-Carrier for the approximate height and width of the baby by adjusting the lower and side strap lengths through the ladder lock connections. Gently pull or release the strap through the ladder lock to achieve the required length.

Placing the Child in the Baby-Carrier Gently place the child in the Baby-Carrier, in a seat- ed position, ensuring that they are fully supported. Connect the remaining Side-Strap Karabiner. The Back-Carry Shoulder Straps should be re-connected to the carrier upper connection points, adjusting the length as required via strap front connection.

Wearing the Harness and Carrier (Step 1) Ensure that the chest strap is disconnected, and the side straps are loosened, prior to wearing the harness and carrier. With the child secured in the carrier and harness, and the harness front facing toward you, lift the harness on to either shoulder by gripping and lifting the left or right shoulder straps with your left or corresponding hand (your arm should cross your body when positioned correctly).
Attaching Accessories The JACS Baby-Carrier features a unique mounting platform. This allows a variety of accessories to be attached to the carrier harness, giving the user the option to build a flexible and adaptable carrying system. Chest-Pouch The Chest-Pouch attaches to the upper (1) and lower (2) Baby-Car- rier connections on the harness front. Attach the upper connections first, and remove in reverse order. The JACS Baby Carrier Liner The JACS Baby-Carrier features a removable cotton liner. This allows the carrier to continue be- ing used, when liners become soiled.

The JACS Infant Insert Pad The JACS Baby-Carrier can also be fitted with our Infant Insert Pad. This allows the carrier to be used for carrying babies prior to 3 month old. The Infant Insert Pad is designed to be placed between the removable cotton carrier liner and the carrier inner surface.

The JACS Footrest Stirrups The JACS Baby-Carrier can also be fitted with Footrest Stirrups. These provide additional support for the legs and hips of growing passengers and can be attached for front and rear carrying using the D Rings located at the base of the harness. The JACS Sun/Rain Screen The JACS Baby-Carrier Screen is designed to be fitted to the harness and carrier unit – and provides protection from the elements and shade from the sun. It can be used for both front inward and back inward carrying positions.

The JACS Back Carry Straps The Back Carry Straps are essential if you are planning to use the carrier unit for back-carrying. If you have not purchased a Complete Package, you can upgrade your JACS by ordering these components as an add-on product.

The JACS Chest Pouch If you’re back carrying your passenger, the Chest Pouch connects to the front of the harness using the same 4 connections as the babycarrier – and is ideal for short trips where all you need is a nappy/diaper, some wipes, and a bottle.

Chest-Pouch Rear Attachment (Low position) The two upper Chest-Pouch connections attach to the lower Baby-Carrier connections on the harness rear. The JACS Backpack Front Mounted Position The JACS Backpack can also be fitted to the front of the harness, so you still have a large storage option when back-carrying your passenger.
