    MTD2.4 INSTALLATION Original Cars To install the MTD 2.4 in original cars, you must use the adapter with the OBDII connector. 1) The MTD must be securely attached to the vehicle. 2) The standard 8-way female MTD connector must be connected to the male 8 way connector of the adapter.

    MTD2.4 Pro Tune ECUs To install MTD in vehicles using Pro Tune ECUs the Pro Tune CAN adapter is used without the OBDII connector. 1) The MTD must be securely attached to the vehicle. 2) The standard 8-way female TDL connector must be connected to the male 8 way connector of the adapter.

    MTD2.4 Returning to the "Configurable Channels" menu and pressing the "Show / Modify Configuration Channels" button, an editing window of previously created channels is displayed. In this window you can modify the channel name, the number of decimal places on the output channel, the sensor calibration values, the input at which the sensor is connected, or select presets.

    MTD2.4 Alarms This function is used to monitoring a determined channel chosen by the user. Whenever the channel values exceed the limits chosen the MTD shift-light blink red, the alarm icon on the main screen will be activated and the corresponding variable will be displayed in red. If the vehicle exits the condition that triggered the alarm, the visual warnings will exit the screen, but the maximum and minimum values beyond the limits will be recorded on the menu.
  • Page 23 MTD2.4 To select the variables monitored by the alarm and adjust its limits, the user must press the “New” button. In the Alarm Adjustment window, you can change the variable to be monitored by pressing the channel name at the top of the screen. In this window it is possible to set 1D or 2D alarms.

On “Trigger Range” the detection radius is selected, the value of 15 meters is suitable for most circuits, smaller values are only recommended for circuits with a finish line close to another part of circuit, such as Londrina (Brazil).
