- Page 2 Step 1: Shut off the power Even though your doorbell operates on a low voltage that should not be dangerous, it is always wise to disconnect the power whenever you are working on an electrical project. So, first, shut off the circuit breaker to your doorbell.
- Page 3 Step 2: Remove your old doorbell With the power disconnected, the next step is to remove your old doorbell. Most doorbells are fastened to the wall with two screws. On the back of your old doorbell, you should find two wires. Disconnect these as well.
- Page 4 Step 3: Wire the Wello doorbell On the back of your Wello doorbell there are two screws. Each of these screws holds one of the wires you just removed from your old doorbell. It does not matter in which order you connect the wires.
- Page 5 Step 4: Secure the Wello Doorbell Next, fasten the Wello doorbell to the wall using the two included screws. Be careful not to allow the wires to get pinched between the Wello and the wall. Once you have your Wello doorbell attached to the wall, go ahead and flip back on the circuit breaker.
- Page 6 Step 5: Install the Wello app Finally, install the Wello app, which is available on both iOS and on Android. The app will walk you through the process of getting your Wello doorbell connected to WiFi and working.
