Sounds and vibration

Options
Change settings for various sounds on the device.
On the Settings screen, tap Sounds and vibration.
• S ound mode: Set the device to use sound mode, vibration mode, or Do not disturb.
• R ingtone: Adjust the volume level for call ringtones.
• M edia: Adjust the volume level for music and videos.
• N otifications: Adjust the volume level for notifications.
• S ystem: Adjust the volume level for system sounds.
• V ibrate while ringing: Set the device to vibrate and play a ringtone for incoming calls.
• R ingtone: Change the call ringtone.
• N otification sounds: Change the notification sound.
• D o not disturb: Set the device to mute incoming calls, notification sounds, and media,
except for allowed exceptions.
• T ouch sounds: Set the device to sound when you select an app or option on the
touchscreen.
• S creen lock sounds: Set the device to sound when you lock or unlock the touchscreen.
• C harging sound: Set the device to sound when it is connected to a charger.
• V ibration feedback: Set the device to vibrate when you tap the buttons on the
navigation bar and for other actions, such as tapping and holding items.
• D ialling keypad tone: Set the device to sound when you tap the buttons on the keypad.
