Report any damaged electrical wires to you dealer for servicing. Periodically check to make sure that the batteries are securely mounted and that the connections are clean and tight. Vinyl Flooring A low-sudsing cleaner such as Spic and Span can be used to clean the vinyl flooring in your Starcraft Marine/SmokerCraft Inc. boat. If your boat is in the water, contact your local dealer for suggested environmentally safe products.

    Over time the stitching holes can stretch and leak. There are products available on the market that can be applied to the seams to help prevent leaks. Starcraft Marine/SmokerCraft Inc. does not cover canvas leaks under its warranty.

    The wrong trailer set up can cause damage to the hull. Your Starcraft Marine/SmokerCraft Inc. warranty does NOT cover damage to the boat caused by the trailer. Consult with your dealer to insure proper trailer fit.

Adding an additional 8” to that height will give you a buffer for clearing most overhead obstructions. Check routes for any height hazards that may exist and plan accord- ingly.

If the wind or current is on the stern side, approach slowly at a slight angle with engine in slow reverse. NEVER use hands or feet to fend your boat.

    Accuracy of the speedometer is reliant on the pick up hole and tube on the devise remaining unobstructed. Additional informa- tion can be obtain by contacting your local Starcraft/ SmokerCraft dealer.

    Keep in mind that propeller size (diameter and pitch) will effect the RPMs. Your Starcraft/SmokerCraft dealer can assist you in se- lecting the proper propeller for optimal performance Trim Gauge: Indicates the angle of the propeller to the hull.

    Take the time to know the water before getting under way. Electrical Switches: Your Starcraft/SmokerCraft boat is equipped with various electrical switches based on the model of boat. These switches control the power to installed com- ponents.

    (left). Livewell System: Some Starcraft/SmokerCraft models have a livewell system as standard equip- ment. The livewell enables you to keep your catch alive until you get to shore. It is really important to keep the livewell clean and free of all debris. Cleaning the livewell with fresh water to completely rinse any residual will help keep the system in perfect running condition.

    Always secure in place before taking off or transporting. Bimini Top Canvas: A bimini top is standard or optional on many Starcraft/SmokerCraft models. Bimini top size and installation varies based on the model. Keeping your top clean and clear of debris will keep it in good operating condition.
