The aircraft cannot avoid obstacles during Failsafe RTH. Therefore, it is important to set a reasonable failsafe altitude before each flight.

NOTE If the flight will occur without the FARO Focus scanner or any other payload, for instance for training purposes, then the pilot is advised to hang a dummy weight underneath the STORMBEE to keep the Take-Off Mass near the MTOM.

    Currently, this calibration can only be done by Think 3D. However, to do this calibration, Think 3D only requires the user to send (over internet) the point cloud data files of one of the last flights in which a Hashtag (#) manoeuvre is performed (Figure 7.2).
