The 4x4 TOUGH® awning is designed to fit a variety of different roof rack and roof trays. This instruction manual will assist you adapt your new awning to suit your application. NOTE Damage to the awning as a result of weather conditions is not covered by warranty.
NOTE: Regularly check that all nuts and bolts securing the awning to the vehicle are tight and in good order. There are many different vehicle set ups; your 4x4 TOUGH® Awning has been supplied with a fitment kit suitable for many installations. However given the innumerable vehicle set ups it may be necessary to adapt these procedures to suit your individual situation.

ROOF RACK FITMENT There are many types of roof racks available, and many forms of attachment of roof racks to vehicles. These various combinations will determine the solution for your situation. Gutter rail In all cases the awning is attached to the roof rack via a set of L brackets;...
2 sets of different sized T-Bolts. The T-Bolt must be a snug fit within the roof rack channel. The smaller T-Bolts are suitable to use with the 4x4 TOUGH roof racks. 1. DIFFERENT ROOF RACKS HAVE DIFFERENT SIZED MOUNTING CHANNELS.
AWNING SETUP NOTE: If it is raining ensure the awning is set to an appropriate angle to allow the rain water to run off and not accumulate on top of the awning. It is essential to use the guy ropes and pegs provided to secure the awning to the ground.
