SENSOR ACTIVATION Before servicing the tires/wheels, using your TPWS Tester, activate each of the vehicle's sensors to make sure they are working properly. This will eliminate the liability associated with replacing previously damaged or defective sensors.

The "new" sensor ID(s) are generated randomly by the tool, and may not be the same as the original. A TPWS reset (see Section 2) is required, when new sensor ID(s) are created.
