    Thank you for purchasing a QBD unit. This manual contains important instructions for installing and servicing AC48. The repair part list and wiring diagram are also included in this manual. Read all of these documents carefully before installing or servicing your unit.

This cooler must be properly installed and located in accordance with the installation instruction before it is used. Improper installation of the cooler, electrical components may cause poor performance and / or component failure.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING • Have the wall outlet and circuit checked by a qualified electrician to make sure that the outlet is properly grounded and circuit breaker is in place as cooler manufacturer recommendation and/ or as per local, regional or national standard.

    QBD COOLING SYSTEMS INC. 9. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS AC48, COOLER COMES WITH ONE POWER CORD. CONNECT THE COOLER MAIN POWER CORD TO 220V/60Hz DEDICATED CIRCUIT DANGER • UNPLUG THE POWER CORDS BEFORE CLEANING OR PERFORMING ANY SERVICE. WARNING • Cold controller is set to maintain the average cooler temperature at 3.3°C (38°F). Any change in setting could result in poor performance and / or component (s) failure.

  • Page 15 QBD COOLING SYSTEMS INC. Don’t spray water over the controller. Controller can fail because of excessive moisture. ELECTRONIC COLD CONTROL SET POINT ADJUSTMENT The display shows the current temperature. Press “up (3) /down(4) ” to access set point Press “up(3) /down(4)” to adjust set point, Press UP (3) for warmer setting or DOWN (4) for colder setting After 30 seconds, the display automatically reverts to show the current temperature and SET POINT change is accomplished.

ELECTRONIC COLD CONTROL PROBE ERROR The display shows the current temperature but if the probe of the controller is damaged or faulty Display will show “S1” for cabinet temperature control probe fault Display will show “S2” for defrost control probe fault CONTROLLER INFORMATION ATTACHED WITH COOLER Controller parameter adjustment guide and diagnostic instructions are attached with coolers for quick reference.

    QBD COOLING SYSTEMS INC. 12. MAINTENANCE • PERIODIC MAINTENANCE CLEANING CONDENSER COIL It is very important that the condenser coil is cleaned on a periodic basis to insure proper refrigeration performance and to prevent compressor failure. 1. Disconnect power to the unit 2.

Avoid splashing or soaking any electrical components with water to prevent CAUTION: electrical damage to the unit. Shut off lights and power switches and remove all products from unit. Allow CAUTION: sufficient time for the unit to reach room temperature before proceeding with cleaning.
