    2 – Device Installation 2.2 – Preamp Configuration The microphone preamp is configured by setting 2 DIP switches located on the rear of the Zip4. These should be set prior to 2.1 – Microphone final installation in the target enclosure or wall box.

    A typical installation will involve mounting the Zip4 wall plate into a pre-mounted wall box, wall mounting bracket, or desktop enclosure. Before installation, make sure the wall box where the Zip4 is to be installed is pre-wired with a suitable cable back to a PoE-enabled network switch or mid-span injector.
