Feed the loose end of the extended handstrap through the handstrap holder. Wrap the handstrap around the holder and fasten together to close the strap. Install the screws back to the handstap holder.

Point the scanner at a barcode, and press the red scan trigger button on the device or press “Scan” on the screen. The red LED lights red will indicate that data capture is in process.
