    Installing the Unit Mounting guidelines The STINGER radar/laser detector can be mounted on your windshield or dashboard using the mounting bracket and hook-and-loop fastener provided. • Mount on the windshield in a centered location that will not obstruct the view of the driver and is within reach, so the buttons can be easily accessed.

    The STINGER radar/laser detector goes through a self-diagnosis sequence and displays the last mode previously set in memory.
