plug it into a 120 VAC outlet, and turn the switch to Alternate. "Pump 1" will turn on and the "pump 1 enable" LED
will illuminate. After 24 hours "Pump 2" will turn on and the "pump 2 enable" LED will illuminate.

Installation Instructions:

#1. Mount the panel within 6 ft of a 120 VAC outlet.
#2. Wire VFD 1 to terminals 1 & 2 on the bottom of the panel. (Fig.1 on page 2) 18 AWG shielded cable is
recommended.
#3. Wire VFD 2 to terminals 3 & 4 on the bottom of the panel. (Fig.2 on page 2) 18 AWG shielded cable is
recommended.
#4a. Lead/Lag/Alternate (preferred)
Program the drive's External Input to "External Setpoint" in the I/O menu. Set the External Setpoint to 5 PSI
above the Internal Setpoint. Refer to Pentek IntelliDrive installation manual for more information. Plug the
Alternating Control Panel into 120 VAC outlet when ready. Place switch into "Alternate" to active system.
Note: Placing the switch in the OFF position will stop the alternation of the drives, but will still allow the
Lead/Lag operation to continue.
Note: This method is preferred due to if one drive faults the other drive will run to attempt to maintain the
pressure setpoint.
Alternate Installation
#4b. Program the drive's External Input to "Run Enable" in the I/O menu. Refer to Pentek IntelliDrive installation
manual for more information. Plug the Alternating Control Panel into 120 VAC outlet when ready. Place
switch into "Alternate" to active system.
Note: Placing the switch in the OFF position will stop both drives from working.
          
Introduction
Before proceeding with the installation or operation of the Alternating Panel read all
instructions thoroughly as well as comply with all Federal, State and Local Codes,
personnel familiar with all applicable local electrical and mechanical codes. Refer
to the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). Failure to properly install and test this
product can result in personal injury or equipment malfunction.
Description of Operation:
The
Alternating Panel
is designed to equalize wear on the pumps by alternating two
Pentek Intellidrive VFD's every 24 hours. After the panel is wired, mount the panel,
for Pentek Intellidrive.
   

