    Operator control of the scanner is by means of the ICG ScanXact user interface program running on an Apple Power Macintosh computer system. Picture data from the 360 is in either of two forms: • Low resolution images for viewing on the Macintosh screen.

    Access to this part of the cabinet is via the lower door which is also opened by pulling on its recessed handle.     Power On/Off Switch When the 360 is connected to some PCI bus Macintosh workstations it may not power-up correctly unless the Macintosh is powered-up first. The recommended power-up sequence is therefore: 1. Start the Macintosh then wait for its Operating System to load.
