    Connect the two wires of the cable fixed to the FMK 9002 with the two-wire cable leading to the Central Controller FMS 8700 or FMS 8710. If the FMK 9002 is connected to other 4 ... 20 mA Central Control Systems, the limit values for the power supply (7.5 ... 15 V) must be observed.

    FMS 8700. Operating Modes There are two different operating modes for the FMK 9002. Insert test plug and select operating mode by once pressing the "MONITOR/CALIBR" key. The operating mode LED changes from status on to off.

    Screw off sensor cap and withdraw the old sensor Remove the shorting socket from the new sensor Plug the new sensor into the socket on the FMK 9002 Be sure to align the orientation guide properly before pushing the sensor into place.

    The test plug is inserted, the selected operating mode is calibration (CALIBR.), the green LED is off. This operating mode does not apply for the FMK 9002 for oxygen (for O2 continue with section 5.3). Note: Be sure to use a proper size screwdriver to prevent damaging the instrument.

    This adjustment must be performed in gas free atmosphere. Selected FMK 9002 operating mode is calibrating Zero adjustment according to section 5.1 Press and hold button "20 mA/CE Value" (calibration current will be fed) Turn the span adjustment with a screwdriver until the reading of the digital display matches the CE concentration value.

    Sensor Order Information The part number for the replacement sensor is written on the label of the depleted sensor cell. It is recommended to state model, serial number, target gas and range of your FMK 9002 when ordering re- placement sensors.
