INSTALLATION MANUAL - WIFIBOAT
WiFiBoat ® can easily be installed in less than 30 minutes, without being visible, behind the
electrical control panel (plotting area). The device is equipped with a WiFi antenna, one or
two indoor GSM antennas (MAIN and AUX) and cable for 9-30 VDC power supply. Given the
very low power consumption (max 7w), the device can always be connected to the services
batteries.
1. Remove back panel and insert SIM card (without PIN!!) of your Telecom Operator.
Correct SIM card orientation is shown in the picture
2. Attach GSM main antenna, GSM aux antenna (not mandatory) and Wi-Fi antenna.
3. Connect the power adapter to the socket on the front panel to the power of the boat.
4. Connect to the device wirelessly (SSID=BOAT-NAME) or use Ethernet cable and plug it into any LAN
Ethernet port. If you have a wired broadband connection you will also have to connect it to the WAN
port of the router.
