    2 PRODUCT INTRODUCTION 2.1 General Description The DA3 is a hand-held validator programming system that enables the user to re-program ITL banknote validators in the field, without the use of a PC. Dataset and firmware files for different validator models can be stored on the DA3.

    Once the files are ready to be copied onto the DA3 simply drag the file from the right and drop on the left. This will prepare the file to be loaded onto the DA3. The DA3 has 8mb of flash storage and can hold up to 20 datasets simultaneously depending on files sizes.

    5.1.9 Data Logging 5.1.9.1 General Description The DA3 can also be used as a data logging device, utilising the two card slots on the unit. This allows the capturing of performance data and also helps with diagnosing any issues seen in the field.
