4.2.1.8 Miscellaneous
4.2.1.8.1 System Units
The system units selection defines the units to be used for measurement.
The units of US (English) or Metric (SI) can be selected.
The selection can be changed by using the mouse.
4.2.1.8.1.1 US (English)
If the 'US' units are selected the basic units used are outlined below.
Speed
= miles per hour (mph)
Force
= pounds (lbs)
Distance
= feet (ft) , miles (mi)
Flow Rate
= gallons per minute (gpm)
Temperature = Fahrenheit degree's
4.2.1.8.1.2 Metric
If the 'Metric' units are selected the basic units used are outlined below.
Speed
= kilometers per hour (kph)
Force
= kilograms (kgs)
Distance
= meters (M) , kilometers (km)
Flow Rate
= liters per minute (lpm)
Temperature = Celsius (C)
4.2.1.9 Test Watering
The 'Test Watering' selections define how the test water will be applied to the test surface.
4.2.1.9.1 Wet
The 'Wet' selection is used when the water is to be applied by the on-board water delivery system.
4.2.1.9.2 Dry
The 'Dry' selection is used when no water is to be applied to the measurement surface by
the on board water delivery system or any external watering source.
4.2.1.9.3 Pre-Wet
The 'Pre-Wet' selection is to be used when water is to applied to the measurement
surface by a watering source other than the on board water delivery system.
4.2.1.10 Data Averaga Filter
The 'Data Average Filter' selections determine how the raw test data will be filtered.
