The ExCam IPQ1775 is suitable for the usage within the Ex zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 in- cluding the gas group IIC (all gases, steams, and fogs including acetylene, hydrogen, and carbon disulphide) and the dust group IIIC (conductive dusts and flammable fibrous material), as well as in mining.

In order to guarantee the power supply (Power Device, PD) of the ExCam IPQ1775 (power device, PD) a Power-over-Ethernet component (Power Sourcing Equipment, PSE) has to be available at the connecting side (e.g.

The T08 ExCam series supports both modes and the used power source (PSE) determines the mode. For executing a reboot, it is possible to separate the ExCam IPQ1775 from the network and to switch it on again while in operation or in interaction with a visualization system (hot plugging).

5.5.2 Opening the pressure-resistant housing Opening the pressure resistant housing (DIN EN 60079-1: 2008) of the ExCam IPQ1775 is only allowed in case the SD storage card has to be removed or replaced or that a „Hardware Reset“ of the camera module is necessary.

In case the T08 ExCam IPQ1775 is equipped with a protection roof, it has to be removed first. To do so, loosen the four 8 mm lens head screws M4*0.7 at the front and back of the bracket (figure 6.10 and figure 6.11).

5.5.4 Hardware Reset In order to reset all parameters, including the IP address, of the ExCam IPQ1775 to de- fault settings, a hardware reset has to be carried out. The parameters can be reset via the web surface or also manually. If the camera is not accessible in the network, the reset has to be carried out manually.
