Installation Cont. Please note this valve must not be used for end of line service or as an isolation valve. In order for the valve to function as intended water quality should be maintained at all times (e.g. as per BSRIA BG50 or equivalent). Flushing Control valves, like the PICV, are sized to give good control over the system flow, therefore have been designed with small convoluted flow paths.
