- 4 - FUNCTION OF THE CROWN Normal position Date setting Time setting NORMAL POSITION The normal position of the crown (1) prevents the inadvertent adjustment of the time or date and also acts as a seal to prevent water from seeping into the case. Important: Although the watch is water-resistant in positions 1, 2 and 3, the crown should always be in position (1) for normal use. - Page 5 Once you have heard and felt that the strap has clicked into place, you can be sure that the strap is safely secured. - 7 - WATER-RESISTANCE The water-resistance of MQT watches is stated in bar and not in metres. Metres, which are often used elsewhere in the watch industry to indicate water-resistance, cannot be equated with dive depth because of the test procedures that are frequently used. - Page 9 - 9 - DIE FUNKTIONEN DER KRONE Normalstellung Datumseinstellung Zeiteinstellung NORMALSTELLUNG Die Normalstellung der Krone (1) verhindert ein unbeabsichtigtes Verstellen der Uhrzeit oder des Datums und das Uhrengehäuse ist dadurch zusätzlich gegen eindringendes Wasser geschützt. Wichtig: In den Positionen 1, 2 und 3 ist die Uhr zwar wasserdicht, die Krone muss aber für den normalen Gebrauch immer wieder in die Position (1) gesetzt werden.

- Page 12 - 12 - DIE WASSERDICHTHEIT Die Wasserdichtheitsangabe erfolgt bei MQT-Uhren in bar und nicht in Metern. Meterangaben, wie sie sonst häufig in der Uhrenindustrie zur Angabe der Wasserdichtheit verwendet werden, können aufgrund der oftmals verwendeten Testverfahren nicht mit der Tiefe eines Tauchganges gleichgesetzt werden.
