    4. Prior to Assembly Read and follow the instructions below to properly remove the parts of the grill from the shipping box. Step 1: Carefully open the top of the shipping box with a suitable knife. Remove the packaging material and the warming rack above the grill with care.

    6. Connecting the Gas Cylinder Before connecting, ensure that there is no debris caught in the head of the gas tank, head of the regulator valve or in the head of the burner and burner ports. The gas cylinder is sold separately. Use only gas cylinders that are protected against overfilling. Test for leakage and proper filling before connecting the gas cylinder.

    7. Instructions for use Before opening the gas cylinder valve, check the coupling nut for tightness. • When grill is not in use, turn off all control knobs and the gas cylinder valve. • Never move the grill while in operation or still hot. •...

    It is not possible to extinguish grease fires by closing the lid. Grill appliances are well ventilated for safety reasons. • Do not extinguish grease fires with water. This could lead to injuries. If a grease fire develops, turn regulator in the “OFF” position and turn gas cylinder off.

    7.2 Burner flame check Remove cooking grates and heat diffusors. Light burners, rotate knobs from “HIGH” to “LOW”. You should see a smaller flame in the “LOW” position than seen on “HIGH”. Perform the burner flame check on side burner, also. Always check the flame prior to each use. If only a small flame is visible, see Sections 8 and 9.

    8. Cleaning and Maintenance • Do not mistake brown or black accumulation of grease and soot for paint. The inside of gas grills is not painted in the factory. Apply a strong soapsud and water or use a grill cleaner with scrub brush on the inside of the grill lid and bottom. Rinse thoroughly and allow the grill to air dry completely.

    8.2 Burner tubes IMPORTANT NOTE: Always ensure the burner tubes are clean. Burner tubes have a narrow area in which spiders tend to build nests. If you find your grill is getting hard to light or the flame isn’t as strong as it should be, please check the burner tubes have about problems or not. If this is the case, clean them as described on the following page.
