Installing the Field Installable FlexConnector
Step 1: Measure cable to YOURx
length (14 inches) and mark outer
cable sheath.

Step 4:
Pull orange pull cord to split
outer cable sheath and expose 3mm
breakout.

Step 7: Slide smallest, 5/16" x 3" long
(004458) section of heat shrink over
breakout and onto jacketed fiber for
later use.

Step 2: Use rotary cutter to cut outer
cable sheath and expose orange pull
cord.

Step 5:
Snip strength member strands
and save for later use.

Step 8: Slide medium, 1/2" x 2 1/4"
long (004644) length of heat shrink
over breakout and onto jacketed fiber
for later use.

pull cord.
