Introduction

The TMAC70 is a hand-held control head
for TM9100 radios that enables the user to operate
the radio at a distance from the radio body.

The hand-held control head plugs into one of the

RJ45 sockets on the TMAC34-1T remote control
head. The TMAC34-1T remote control head is
installed as part of the TMAA03-08 enhanced
remote kit.
A TMAA10-03 remote speaker (for 25W radios) or
TMAA10-06 remote speaker (for 40/50W radios)
is required when a hand-held control head is used.
Note:
The hand-held control head cannot be used
with the TMAA03-25 remote kit.

Operation

The keys and controls work in the same way as those on the standard control head,
with the exception of the PTT and volume up and down keys. The hand-held
control head also has two additional function keys.

Turning the radio on

on/off key
Press either the on/off key or the PTT key.

Turning the radio off

Press the on/off key for about half a second.

Adjusting the volume
