To zero or tare the XP2, you must turn off peak indication, then press the button zero for at least ½ second before it responds. The delay avoids unintentional changes to the zero/tare setting.

    Peak detection continuously records maximum and minimum applied pressure.     Specifications Accuracy specifications are for one year, and include all effects of linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, and temperature within the specified operating temperature range. The gauge must be exercised and re-zeroed whenever exposed to significant changes in environmental conditions to achieve these specifications.
