Location Pin Conversion (Magnetic Clutch)

for A-2, Jetback and Straight 'A' Pinsetters
This Kit will stabilize the Magnetic Clutch in the event that the OEM Location Pin has broken off, or the
entire Pin is missing.

Installation

WARNING! Disconnect all power to the pinsetter by tripping
the breaker and unplugging the Power Cord.
1. Inspect the Magnetic Clutch: the Location Pin and Tab will need to be completely removed. If
the Pin is missing and the Tab remains, remove the Tab using a hacksaw.
2. Install the two Brackets around the Magnetic Clutch housing and position Hex Head Screw 5/16
- 18 x ¾, Lock Washer 5/16 Spring, and Flat Washer 5/16 SAE on the opposite side of the Power
Wire exit
3. The Upper Bracket Legs will straddle the Wire exit fitting. Assemble but DO NOT tighten the
5/16 -18 screw and nut at the Upper Legs
4. Rotate the Bracket Assembly to align Tab hole to the hole in the Elevator Frame. Install the 'X'
Washer from the Bracket Tab, extending through the pinsetter elevator frame. Secure using 'X'
Washer on the rear side of the frame.
5. Tighten the 5/16 hardware moderately
