  • Page 3 165-931 Quadrax Q-LOCK Push tube with universal attachement and articulated arm. You must add a 2” receiver hitch on the ATV to install the Q-Lock universal mounting kit. (Not included). Works with all Quadrax plows. Raises the shovel 25 degrees higher than conventional plow systems. The only arm that allows you to load a vehicle (ATV or UTV) equipped with a plow on a trailer or truck.

    Installing the hook mount assembly CAUTION : You must add a 2” receiver hitch on the ATV/UTV to install the Q-Lock universal attachment kit (Not included). List page 29 & 30. Failure to follow this step could cause serious damage to the hitch ball mount or the ATV/UTV.

    ASSEMBLY Measure to determine the position of the blade Step.3 Measure the distance from the hook mount to the front of the ATV then add 7 inches, keep this measure for step 5. Note: For models equipped with tracks, measure the distance between the hook mount and the end of the track and then add 4 inches.

    ASSEMBLY Installation of the push chanel and rear frame Step.5 Place push channel (A) over the end of the mounting tube (B) and the rear frame channel (C). Line up the holes as shown in the figure and secure the push channel using four 10 x 110mm bolts (D), eight washers (E) and four nuts (F) then to the rear frame channel using eight 10 x 30mm bolts (G), sixteen washers (E) and height nuts (F).

    ASSEMBLAGE ASSEMBLY Secure the plow blade assembly to the A Step.7 Move the vehicle over the frame channel. Lift frame channel using the coupling hook handle (A), then slide the two top notches (C) of the coupling hook (B) on the two pins of he hook (D).

    ASSEMBLY Installation of the chains stabilizer Step.9 Attach the chains stabilizer (A) to the upper anchor plate holes (C) using the quick connecting links (B). Position chains in a crisscross pattern as shown. Note: Front snow blade not shown for clarity.     ASSEMBLY ATTENTION : A winch positioned too low on the ATV / UTV will give too low an angle to the cable. Which would pull back the plow instead of lifting it and cause damage to the frame of the plow or ATV / UTV.     OPERATION CAUTION : Before using or lifting the plow, remove the receiver pin (A). Failure to follow this step could cause serious damage to the frame of the plow or ATV. Note: Use the receiver pin (A) only if you need to install or remove the frame of the plow from the ATV.

    ASSEMBLAGE MAINTENANCE Replacing the safety bolt. The frame is equipped with a shock absorption system that reduces the risk of damage Safety bolt M6 x 115 that could be caused to the ATV / UTV. If you hit a foreign object or ice, the safety bolt is designed to break upon absorbing impact and the frame to collapses to the ground.
