HINT: If the knob comes loose during sharpening, you are probably holding it too tightly. It should just float free in your hand, so that the stone is free to follow the shape of the blade.

Put the GUIDE CLIP on. Rest the blade on the hollow ground portion so the edge rests on the end of the BLADE TABLE. -
