Always On USB 3.0 connector
Charge some mobile digital devices when the dock is connected to the power supply. The Always On USB 3.0 connector can
supply power up to 2.4 A during the charging process.
Note:
For the wireless keyboard and mouse, it is recommended that you connect the USB receiver of the wireless keyboard or mouse to
the USB 2.0 connector of the dock.
Status indicator
The indicator shows the dock status and computer status:
– Red: The dock is on and ready to connect to the computer; or the dock is on and the computer is in hibernation mode or off.
– Amber: The dock is on and connected to an active computer. Install the dock graphics drive to enable the dock graphics card.
– Green: The dock is on and connected to an active computer with the dock graphics card enabled.
Thunderbolt 3 connector
Connect the dock to your Lenovo computer with a Thunderbolt 3 cable.
DisplayPort connectors
Connect a high-performance monitor, a direct-drive monitor, or other devices that use a DisplayPort connector.
HDMI connector
The High-Definition Multimedia Interface

Security-lock slot
To protect your dock from theft, lock your dock to a desk, table, or other non-permanent fixture. Use a security cable lock that fits
