1.1 - Safety instructions
• WARNING! – This manual contains important instructions and warnings for
personal safety. We recommend that you read this entire manual with care before
starting any work. If in doubt, do not install the product and contact the Nice techni-
cal assistance department.

1.2 - General warnings
• Never make modifications to any part of the product, except for those described in
this manual. Unauthorized operations can cause malfunctioning; the manufacturer
declines all responsibility for damage resulting from products which have been arbi-
trarily modified.
• Warning! – Unplug the power supply unit before cleaning the product.
• Packaging materials must be disposed off in accordance with local regulations.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE
HSTSA1 is a tabletop or wall-mounted support for the HSTS2 touchscreen keypad. It
has two rechargeable batteries and a battery charger for recharging them (they are
recharged when the touchscreen keypad is mounted on its support).
This product is part of the Nice Home System alarm system. Any use other than the
use described in this manual should be considered prohibited!
2.1 - Wall mounting
• Check that the surface on which the product is to be mounted is sufficiently robust.
• Check that the power supply cable can pass through the opening in the centre of the
support fig. 1.
• Do not install the support close to a heat source.
01. Mark the anchorage points on the wall, drill holes, insert the screw anchors provid-
ed and pass the power cable through the opening in the centre of the support (fig.
1/A-B-C);
02. Fasten the support in place with the screws supplied (fig. 1/C);
03. Connect up the micro USB connector of the power supply unit provided (fig. 1/D);
04. Hook the support onto the wall and insert the touchscreen keypad (fig. 1/E).
2.2 - Mounting on tabletop support
Warnings – Place the support on a flat surface where it will be protected against acci-
dental falls.
Assemble the tabletop support:
01. Insert part (b) into support (a) as shown in fig. 2/A;
02. Slide bracket (b) upwards as shown in fig. 2/B;
03. Connect up the micro USB connector of the power supply unit provided (fig. 2/C);
2.3 - Power supply
01. Replace the original (non-rechargeable) batteries in the touchscreen keypad with
the rechargeable batteries supplied with the HSTSA1.
02. Enable the "recharging" function in the "settings" menu of the touchscreen (refer to
the HSTS2's instruction manual).
03. Insert the touchscreen keypad in its support (fig. 3) and check that the orange led
comes on on the touchscreen, indicating that recharging is underway.
The led will turn green when the batteries are completely recharged.
You may now leave the touchscreen keypad in its support or take it somewhere else.
To prolong battery life, do not recharge the batteries until they are depleted ( ) and
always recharge them completely (until the led turns green).
DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT
This device is an integral part of the alarm system and must be disposed of with it.
As in installation operations, at the end of the product's lifespan, disposal operations
must be performed by qualified personnel. These products are made of various types
of materials: some of them may be recycled, while others cannot. Find out about recy-
cling and disposal systems for this category of products established by current legisla-
tion in your area.
Attention! – Some parts of the products may contain polluting or hazardous sub-
stances which, if released into the environment, may cause serious damage to the
environment or to human health.
As indicated by the symbol appearing here, the products may not be dis-
posed of with other household wastes.
Separate the waste into categories for disposal, according to the meth-
ods established by current legislation in your area, or return the products
to the retailer when purchasing a new version.
Attention! – Local regulations may provide for heavy fines if the products are disposed
of inappropriately.
Disposal of batteries
Attention! – The batteries in the devices of this alarm system contain polluting
substances also when flat and therefore must not be disposed of with ordi-
nary waste material. They must be disposed of separately in accordance with
the methods required under the regulations in effect in your area.

DESCRIZIONE DEL PRODOTTO E DESTINAZIONE D'USO
HSTSA1 è un supporto da tavolo o da parete per la tastiera touchscreen HSTS2. Inol-
tre è corredato di due pile ricaricabili e di un alimentatore carica batteria per ricaricarle
(queste si ricaricano quando la tastiera touchscreen è inserita nel supporto).
Il presente prodotto fa parte del sistema d'allarme Nice Home System. Qualsiasi altro
uso diverso da quanto previsto in questo manuale è da considerarsi vietato!
2.1 - Fissaggio a parete
• Verificare che la superficie prevista per il fissaggio sia sufficientemente solida.
• Verificare che attraverso il foro centrale del supporto sia possibile far arrivare il cavet-
to dell'alimentatore fig. 1.
• Non posizionare il supporto vicino a forti fonti di calore.
01. Segnare sulla parete i punti di fissaggio, forare, inserire i tasselli in dotazione e far pas-
sare il cavo di alimentazione attraverso il foro centrale del supporto (fig. 1/A-B-C);
02. Fissare il supporto con le viti in dotazione (fig. 1/C);
03. Collegare la presa micro USB dell'alimentatore in dotazione (fig. 1/D);
04. Agganciare il supporto ed inserire la tastiera touch screen (fig. 1/E).
2.2 - Fissaggio su supporto da tavolo
Avvertenze – Mettere il supporto su superfici piane e al sicuro da eventuali cadute
accidentali.
Comporre il supporto da tavolo:
01. Inserire l'elemento (b) nel supporto (a) come da fig. 2/A;
02. Far scorrere verso l'alto la staffa (b) fig. 2/B;
03. Collegare la presa micro USB dell'alimentatore in dotazione (fig. 2/C.
2.3 - Alimentazione
01. Nella tastiera touchscreen sostituire le pile originali (non ricaricabili) con quelle rica-
ricabili in dotazione ad HSTSA1.
02. Abilitatare la funzione "ricarica" presente nel menu "impostazione" del touchscreen
(vedere manuale istruzioni HSTS2).
03. Inserire la tastiera touch nel supporto (fig. 3) e verificare che nel touch si accenda
il led di colore arancio ad indicare la ricarica in corso.
Quando la ricarica è completa il led diventa verde.
A questo punto è possibile lasciare il touch nel suo supporto oppure prelevarlo per por-
tarlo altrove.
Per una maggiore durata delle batterie è preferibile eseguire la ricarica solo quando
sono scariche ( ) ed eseguire sempre ricariche complete (led verde).
SMALTIMENTO DEL PRODOTTO
Questo dispositivo è parte integrante dell'impianto di allarme e deve essere smaltito
insieme con esso.
Come per le operazioni d'installazione, anche al termine della vita di questo prodotto,
le operazioni di smantellamento devono essere eseguite da personale qualificato. Que-
sti prodotti sono costituiti da vari tipi di materiali: alcuni possono essere riciclati e altri
devono essere smaltiti. Informarsi riguardo i sistemi di riciclaggio o smaltimento, per
questa categoria di prodotti, previsti dai regolamenti vigenti sul vostro territorio.
Attenzione! – Alcune parti dei prodotti possono contenere sostanze inquinanti o peri-
colose che, se disperse nell'ambiente, potrebbero provocare effetti dannosi sull'am-
biente stesso e sulla salute umana.
Come indicato dal simbolo a lato, è vietato gettare questi prodotti nei
rifiuti domestici. Quindi, eseguire la "raccolta separata" per lo smaltimen-
to, secondo i metodi previsti dai regolamenti vigenti sul vostro territorio
oppure riconsegnare i prodotti al venditore nel momento dell'acquisto di
un nuovo prodotto equivalente.
Attenzione! – I regolamenti vigenti a livello locale possono prevedere pesanti sanzioni

Smaltimento di pile e batterie
Attenzione! – Le pile e le batterie contenute nei dispositivi che compongono il
presente sistema di allarme, anche se scariche contengono sostanze inqui-
nanti e quindi non devono essere gettate nei rifiuti comuni. Occorre smaltirle
utilizzando i metodi di raccolta "separata" previsti dalle normative vigenti nel
vostro territorio.
