Description of performance The U 224 is a 19‘‘ rack device with 3 integrated IP to PAL transcoder modules U 208. It can receive up to 24 (3 x 8) MPEG data streams and channels encapsulated in accordance with Internet Protocol (IP).
Connecting the U 224 to a PC or laptop To be able to configure the U 224, you now need to connect the network sockets (Management A or Management B) of one of the submodules (U 208) on the rear side of the device (see figure at left) to your PC or laptop using a network cable.

Logging in To log in, copy the IP address of the U 224 into the address line of the browser. The menu page “Status” will then appear. Select the item “Log in” from the navigation menu at the left. The input mask for the log in should then appear (see figure 4, below).

Removal and installation of power supply units.
