Assembly Instructions 1. Remove the mixer and all components from its shipping crate. You will see: • Two (2) rim and tire assemblies. • Axle assembly with hubs on each side, idler spring, and eight (8) lug nuts. • Selected hitch with lock pin and bolt and safety bolt with hair pin. Note: All installation hardware must be inserted into its respective location on the mixer, see Section 4 for more details.

1.2 - Spark Arrestor Notice SECTION 1 SAFETY 1.2.1 Laws Pertaining to Spark Arrestors Some states require that in certain locations arrestors be used on internal combustion engines. A spark arrester is a device designed to prevent the discharge of spark or flames from the engine exhaust. It is often required when operating equipment on forested land to prevent the risk of fires.
1.3 - General Safety SECTION 1 SAFETY • NEVER operate this equipment without proper protective clothing, safety glasses, respiratory protection, hear- ing protection, steel-toed boots and other protective devices required by the job or city and state regulations. • Avoid wearing jewelry or loose fitting clothes that may get caught on the controls or moving parts as this can cause serious injury.
