5. Verizon 4G LTE USB modem - UML295
Installing the Verizon Modem
• On the Verizon UML295 modem, open the USB
connector and rotate 180 degrees.
• Locate the port on the back of the modem, as shown
below. Line that port up with the hole in the
polycarbonate lid insert and then plug the Direct Connect
Cable into the port. Velcro the modem into place.

• Plug the USB extension cord into the modem.
• Be sure the Direct Connect cord hooks onto the notch on the
polycarbonate lid insert and wraps around to the front.

NOTE: Do NOT velcro the cords to the modem, doing so may
damage the cords and/or modem.

Continued • Open the Rocket Lid and slide out the Hinged Lid Support. • Lay the opened Rocket down with the serial number and ports on the label facing up, as shown below. • Plug the USB extension cord and direct connect cable into the Rocket and hand tighten. direct connect • Position the polycarbonate insert with attached modem into the lid, as shown below. • Tuck in both cables and close the Rocket Lid.
