INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Ⅰ. INTRODUCTION

CLEARFIL MAJESTY ES-2 is a light-cure, radiopaque restorative material

which provides accurate color matching, high polishability and excellent

physical properties, making it ideal for both anterior and posterior restorations. It

is formulated with optimal viscosity, assuring easy handling and placement. It is

packaged in traditional syringes or Pre-loaded tips (PLTs).

The "lightness/ value"- based unique shade taking system of the CLEARFIL

MAJESTY ES-2 Shade guide provides shade taking options for single (Classic)

【Dental light-curing unit】

1. Do not look directly at the light source. Protective glasses are recommended.

2. Low light intensity causes poor adhesion. Check the lamp for service life and

the dental curing light guide tip for contamination. It is advisable to check the

dental curing light intensity using an appropriate light evaluating device at

appropriate intervals.

3. The emitting tip of the dental curing unit should be held as near and vertical

to the resin surface as possible. If a large resin surface is to be light-cured, it

A-1. Shade taking

1. The product must be used by the expiration date indicated on the package.

2. The product and shade guide must be stored at 2-25°C/ 36-77°F when not in

use.

3. When the product is stored in the refrigerator, it should be left at room

temperature for more than 15 minutes before each use. Failure to do this

might cause breakage of the syringe or the tip.

5. After the paste has been dispensed, the syringe should be capped securely

as soon as possible to prevent hardening by ambient light of the material,

CLEARFIL MAJESTY ES-2 est un matériau de restauration photopolymérisable

(PLTs).

Le système unique de prise de teintes du teintier CLEARFIL MAJESTY ES-2,

basé sur « lightness/ value », permet de sélectionner une teinte (Classic) ou

des teintes multiples (Premium) pour des restaurations très esthétiques.

4. Faire preuve de précaution pour empêcher le produit d'entrer en contact avec

la peau ou les yeux. Avant l'utilisation, couvrir les yeux du patient avec une

serviette pour les protéger des projections.

5. En cas de contact du produit avec les tissus du corps humain, prendre les

mesures suivantes :

Rincer immédiatement les yeux abondamment à l'eau et consulter un

médecin.

Essuyez immédiatement avec un tampon ouaté ou de la gaze imprégné

d'alcool, puis rincez abondamment à l'eau.

6. Prenez les mesures nécessaires pour éviter que le patient n'avale

accidentellement le produit.

7. Seringue : Afin d'éviter toute contamination croisée, évitez d'utiliser la même

pâte pour différents patients. Avant utilisation, exprimer la pâte sur un bloc de

mélange. Ne pas essayer d'appliquer directement la pâte à partir d'une

seringue sur la dent du patient.

8. PLT : À usage unique. Ne pas réutiliser l'embout afin d'éviter toute

contamination croisée. L'éliminer après usage et stériliser le pistolet

conformément au mode d'emploi de ce dernier.

2. Précautions pour la manipulation

【CLEARFIL MAJESTY ES-2】

1. Le produit ne doit pas être utilisé dans tout autre but que ceux spécifiés dans

les [II.INDICATIONS].

2. L'utilisation de ce produit est limitée à l'usage des chirurgiens dentistes

agréés.

3. Utiliser un agent de coiffage pulpaire dans une cavité à proximité de la pulpe

ou en cas d'exposition accidentelle de la pulpe.

4. Utiliser une digue en caoutchouc pour éviter toute contamination et contrôler

l'humidité.

5. Ne pas utiliser le produit conjointement à d'autres matériaux composites. Les

matériaux mélangés peuvent modifier les propriétés physiques et

éventuellement diminuer les performances escomptées.

6. La pâte devrait être utilisée immédiatement après avoir été sortie de la

seringue ou de l'embout. Si la pâte n'est pas utilisée directement pendant un

certain temps, elle devra être recouverte d'une plaquette protégeant de la

lumière.

7. Si vous utilisez un embout pré-dosé PLT, exercez une pression lente et

continue sur le pistolet. Une force excessive n'est pas nécessaire.

8. Si vous utilisez un teintier, suivez les procédures ci-dessous pour éviter toute

contamination croisée.

• Couvrir l'intégralité du teintier à l'aide d'une protection jetable (comme un

sac en plastique) afin d'éviter toute contamination par la salive et le sang.

• Le désinfecter avant et après utilisation en le frottant correctement avec un

coton absorbant imbibé d'alcool.

【Unité dentaire de photopolymérisation】

1. Ne pas regarder directement vers la source lumineuse. Le port de lunettes de

protection est recommandé.

2. Une faible intensité lumineuse provoquera une adhérence médiocre. Vérifier

la lampe quant à sa durée de vie et l'embout de guidage de la lampe de

polymérisation dentaire quant à une éventuelle contamination. Il est

recommandé de vérifier l'intensité de la lampe de polymérisation dentaire en

utilisant à intervalles périodiques un dispositif d'évaluation de l'intensité

lumineuse.

3. L'embout émetteur de l'unité dentaire de polymérisation doit être tenu le plus

près et le plus possible à la verticale par rapport à la surface de la résine. Si

une surface importante de résine doit être photopolymérisée, il est

recommandé de la diviser en différentes sections et de les photopolymériser

chacune séparément.

4. Vérifier les conditions requises pour la polymérisation de la pâte en se

référant aux durées de photopolymérisation listées dans ce mode d'emploi

avant d'utiliser le produit.

3. Consignes de conservation

1. Le produit doit être utilisé avant la date de péremption indiquée sur

l'emballage.

2. Le produit et le teintier doivent être conservés à 2 – 25℃ / 36 – 77°F

lorsqu'ils ne sont pas utilisés.

3. Lorsque le produit est conservé au réfrigérateur, il doit être laissé à température

ambiante avant chaque utilisation pendant au moins 15 minutes. En cas de non

observation, la seringue ou l'embout pré-dosé risquent de casser.

4. Le produit et le teintier ne doivent pas être exposés à une chaleur extrême ou

directement à la lumière du soleil.

5. Après que la pâte a été sortie, la seringue doit être fermée hermétiquement le

plus vite possible, afin d'empêcher que la lumière ambiante ne durcisse le

matériau et que des corps étrangers n'entrent dans la seringue.

6. Le produit doit être conservé dans un endroit adéquat, auquel seuls des

dentistes ont accès.

VII. PROCÉDURES CLINIQUES

Choix de la teinte et technique de restauration

Présentation des teintes dans le teintier ： Les teintes Classic, à l'exception de

A6, sont rangées dans le même ordre que les onglets de sélection expliqués

ci-dessous aux sections « Technique pour teinte unique » et « Technique

pour teintes multiples ».

Les teintes Translucent, Premium Enamel, Premium Dentin et A6 sont

rangées au niveau des onglets désignés par T, E-1, E-2, D-1 et D-2.

1. Technique pour teinte unique (système Classic)

Étape 1 :

Choisissez la « lightness/ value » la

plus proche parmi les 6 onglets

proposés dans le teintier.

Étape 2 :

Retirez l'onglet choisi de son support et sélectionnez la teinte

correspondante.

Par exemple, si vous choisissez l'onglet A2, vous pouvez sélectionner les

teintes D2, A2 ou C1, comme indiqué ci-dessous.

2. Technique pour teintes multiples (système Premium)

Choisissez la « lightness/ value » la

plus proche parmi les 6 onglets

Nettoyez la dent avec un mélange de pierre ponce et d'eau afin de retirer

les colorations de surface, puis choisissez la teinte correspondante comme

indiqué à la section « Choix de la teinte et technique de restauration ».

A-2. Isolation et contrôle de l'humidité

Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats possibles, éviter que la surface à traiter

soit contaminée par de la salive ou de l'exsudat. Il est conseillé de poser

une digue en caoutchouc pour maintenir la dent propre et sèche.

A-3. Préparations de la cavité
