Cold water capacity Product Working Principle: The Forbes Marshall Tracer Line Trap works on thermostatic principle operates on the steam temperature difference from sub-cooled condensate and air. Steam increases the pressure inside the thermostatic element i. e. thermopod, causing the trap to close. As condensate and non- condensate gases surrounding the thermopod, the temperature begins to drop and the thermopod contracts and opens the valve. -
