Main Connections

The VIVO SX7 allows you to connect an external keyboard through two
ways, via MIDI or via USB.
Connect a MIDI Keyboard
You can use a MIDI keyboard to control your VIVO SX7.
If you connect your computer to the VIVO SX7 as shown in the illustration,
you'll be able to use the VIVO SX7 as a MIDI interface.
The MIDI messages received from the VIVO SX7's MIDI IN will be directly
redirected to the its USB computer port together with the audio generated
by VIVO SX7. Audio streaming and MIDI through the same cable.

Rotate the [VOLUME] knob counterclockwise to minimize
the volume.
2.
Use a MIDI cable (commercially available) to connect the
VIVO SX7's MIDI IN socket to the MIDI OUT socket of the
external MIDI keyboard.
3.
If you want to work with a DAW software, use a AgB-
type USB (commercially available) cable to connect the
VIVO SX7's USB COMPUTER PORT to the USB port of your
computer.

Connect a USB MIDI Keyboard
You can use a USB MIDI keyboard to control your VIVO SX7.
If you connect your also your computer to the VIVO SX7 as shown in the

The MIDI messages received from the VIVO SX7's USB MEMORY socket will
be directly redirected to the its USB COMPUTER port.

the external MIDI keyboard.

VIVO SX7's USB COMPUTER PORT to the USB port of your
computer.
Matching MIDI Channels
The VIVO SX7 has three parts. For each part you can change the MIDI
channel to match them with the device you connected.
Here below the list of the MIDI channels for each part:

The MEMORY part is used to recall memories.
