KEPCO
LAN INTERFACE (E SUFFIX) RETROFIT KIT

1. DESCRIPTION

Kepco KIT 219-0608 is comprised of an interface board cantoning both RS 485 and LAN interfaces. This interface
board is substituted for the interface board included in a standard model in order to convert the model to an E suffix
model with full LAN operation capability.

2. APPLICABILITY

This KIT applies to all KLN 750W, 1500W and 3000W models.

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The Illustration provided in this Instruction Manual show a 750W model, the instructions and illustrations apply to
1500W and 3000W models as well.
NOTE: Save all hardware for use during reassembly.

3.1 REMOVE COVER

1. Turn power off, disconnect the unit from source power and (if applicable) remove line cord.
2. Remove screws securing top cover to chassis, then lift the cover off.
750W: Three screws at each side, four at the top (two at the front, two at the rear)
1500W, 3000W: Three screws at each side, six at the top (three at the front, three at the rear)
